Setting the standard, not following one.
Fire Frame Co. is Australia's first dedicated off-site fire door frame backfilling operation. We take frames from supply partners, backfill them off-site to AS 1905.1, individually barcode each one to its door number, QA inspect it, and dispatch it install-ready.
What We're Building
There's currently no dedicated compliance record for this stage of the install. We're creating one — every frame we dispatch carries its own QA and compliance certificate, referenced against the door number from the architectural drawings.
Where We Came From
Fire Frame Co. grew out of Barrett Plaster, a Melbourne commercial plastering, carpentry and cladding subcontractor with over 10 years working across education, health, retail and commercial projects. We've been the trade stuck backfilling frames on site — so we built a business to take that job off the critical path entirely.
